  • The must-see event for Tracht fashions and alpine lifestyle items!

The Tracht & Country show is the most important order placement fair around for Tracht fashions and alpine lifestyle items, both nationally and internationally. The whole industry meets up at this fair twice a year in Salzburg – at the heart of the Alps - to place orders for the upcoming seasons and to discuss the industry.

The autumn edition of the fair places the spotlight on collections that will be seen in the following spring and summer seasons of 2017. As well as classics, such as Dirndl dresses and traditional Lederhosen, there is strong emphasis on fashions and accessories – outdoor clothing, leather and knitwear, blouses, blazers and skirts, scarves, hats and shoes.

The fair is an ideal stage for manufacturers and designers to present their wares to an international group of trade visitors, to display their latest collections and models, and to initiate new trends.

Buyers, traders, scouts and the press all come to gather information about the colours and shades, cuts and materials for the coming seasons, to see the new faces in the industry and discuss the latest developments. Their order recommendations and press releases have a large and direct influence on the public perception of Tracht.

The Tracht & Country benefits exhibitors and visitors!

Review of the autumn Tracht & Country in 2015:

    • More than 200 exhibitors, more than half of whom came from outside Austria
    • Over 3300 buyers, specialist traders and trend scouts from home and abroad
    • The first ‘Rookie Challenge‘ in the autumn of 2015 gave ambitious young designers a platform to showcase their work in front of an international group of trade visitors
